Hi Bill and forum, I recently signed up for a trial to Alexa.com which gives you a free website audit. The audit found 1,000+ pages on my site with multiple links to places that are throwing up a security message when I try to click through. I'm attaching a screenshot image of one of the readings. Help! I don't know what to do!![]() |

I don't know the answer. But it looks to me like these are the same pages. Small and new sites generally don't get hacked. There is no reason for it. Do you have the option to delete these pages? There are all on your site? |

Add a sitemap page to tell you what you what is in your site. If your theme does not have one, add a plugin. Here is what is probably happening: You have lots of links in your side bar and your '117' page is in it someplace. It's placeholder page because its name has Latin mumbo jumbo as a title. I would delete the offending posts. Then, add a plugin that looks for broken links. They are links that reference missing pages. |

Thanks @morrnel . Broken Link Checker plugin is a hog on your server. But it will find the broken links. Once that is done, you can deactivate it. |

And keep your WordPress software quite current. Be cautious about upgrading to major releases (4.0, 4.1, etc.). They will have the most bugs. Wait until minor updates are released 4.0.1 or a 4.1.1 etc. comes out. They have bug fixes in them and put them on right away. | ||

@morrnel That's a great tip on waiting till the bugs are out of the major updates. I never thought of that. |

@Belew Part of the reason my day typically runs from noon to about 4 a.m. (my time) is much of my work is in that neck of the wood. |

@Rev, been there, done that. The challenge with living in the far east is you often work three days a day. The far east day, the north American day and then the European day. the day gets quite long. |

@morrnel The good news about working in the Far East is that when your day is done, the rest of the world is just waking up. |
