Social Media - A Powerful Marketing Tool2865

Teacher Rev private msg quote post Address this user
Social media can be a powerful marketing tool if you use it correctly. If you lean toward inbound marketing it can be a significant source of traffic to your website. Here are six questions you might be asking as you set your social media calendar going into 2018:

1) What worked for you in 2017?

2) What are your specific goals for 2018?

3) What types of content will you publish?

4) Which social media sites will you focus on?

5) How are you tracking your social media engagement?

6) Have you specified strategy and tactics for your plan?

What are your answers to these and do you have other questions you feel are important to your own social media approach?

@Rev I guess I'm glad that you posted these questions, but I'm also not happy that I need to think about these things. I'm a very reluctant social media person. I know I should be doing more, while at the same time I'm happy in my less-than-participant-ways.

1) What worked for you in 2017? When I actually got out there and met with people live.

2) What are your specific goals for 2018?-to do more marketing and land either a newspaper, magazine article or book deal with San Francisco Values proposal.

3) What types of content will you publish?- blog and article writing

4) Which social media sites will you focus on? Facebook and Twitter

5) How are you tracking your social media engagement? I'm not.

6) Have you specified strategy and tactics for your plan? To aggressively promote San Francisco Values.

What are your answers to these and do you have other questions you feel are important to your own social media approach?
